The larvae of the intertidal hoplonemertean Poseidonemertes collaris have two eyes and two anterior red streak-like patches, a green gut and conspicuous cerebral ganglia. At their posterior, they sometimes have a caudal cirrus and a small epidermal indentation. A mid-ventral longitudinal epidermal groove is more or less apparent.
